The Conero Peninsula
Do not miss surely the Conero Peninsula cliff which interrupts the series of beaches that run along the coast of the Marche. Accessible from Ancona to the north is an area of almost savage known for its scenery, its wines, enjoy the Rosso Conero, bays and the most beautiful beaches in the region. Must see is the location of Portonovo, with a beautiful beach and characterized by the Romanesque church of Santa Maria di Portonovo, Numana and Sirolo, more commercial but always with beautiful beaches.
North of Conero
To the north of the Conero Peninsula found the town of Fano, lively and full of events with the ancient Arch of Augustus, the Fountain of Fortune, the Malatesta Palace and a beautiful beach of sand and gravel 20 km long, and Cattolica, almost on the border with Romagna, characterized by a sandy beach. Finally Senigallia with its long Velvet Beach
South of Conero
South of the Peninsula Conero you can stop in Porto Recanati, famous for its super-equipped beach that has made it one of the most popular tourist spots in the region, and further down to Grottamare, where an ancient medieval center joins a long seaside along a large beach with shallow water. On the southern edge of the region finally found San Benedetto del Tronto, 32 km from Ascoli Piceno, famous for the beautiful waterfront 8 km long, made of beautiful sandy beaches and shaded by palm trees.
A unique coastline, an amazing setting for a clean sea and swimming. The coastline south of Ancona is a stretch of uncontaminated white beaches. Coves of the most remote beaches alternate with more easily accessible and equipped, to the shore of Marcelli, with many amenities and lots of fun.
